Raju is broke and lying to his mother about the job he does not have. Shyam has come to the city looking for work he was promised. Both end up in Baburao's crumbling garage, where the landlord is deeper in debt than either of them.

A wrong number changes everything: a ransom call meant for a rich businessman comes through on Baburao's phone, and the three of them decide to collect the money themselves.

The plan is simple until the real kidnappers, the police and the girl they were never supposed to care about all turn up at once.
