Singham Returns2014

DCP Bajirao Singham is posted to Mumbai and finds one of his own men dead in an ambulance with a pile of cash beside him. The trail runs from that body to Satyaraj Chander, a godman who calls himself Babaji, and through him to the politician Prakash Rao.

When the men around Babaji kill Singham's mentor, the fight stops being official. Singham makes a show of resigning and goes home to work the case from the outside, where he also finds Avni, a friend from childhood.

Evidence is not the problem; keeping witnesses alive long enough to give it is. What Singham and his team finally do, out of uniform, is the kind of justice the courtroom was never going to deliver.
