Thakur Mahendra Pratap learns that a witch named Nakita has been preying on people in the forest beside his estate. His brother Sameer takes the hunt on himself and follows her to an abandoned mansion.

Some time later a sorcerer takes an interest in the Thakur's young daughter Jasmin, when the car carrying her to boarding school breaks down on the road. Sameer, who is driving her, does not come home.

Twelve years on, Jasmin lives in the haveli under her father's uneasy eye. Men who follow her to the old mansion are not seen again, and her cousin is the first to say plainly that this is not Jasmin.
