Gautam works in the United States and comes back to India for a single reason, to cast his vote. Voting is the whole purpose of the visit.

While he is there he meets Bhavana, falls in love with her and asks her to marry him. She neither refuses nor agrees.

Instead Bhavana sets a condition. Gautam must carry out one particular task concerning Bhanu Shankar, a central minister whom everyone around him fears. A man who flew home only to vote now has to measure himself against a sitting minister and the people who keep him in place.
