Akele Hum Akele Tum1995

Rohit wants a career as a playback singer. Kiran is training as a classical singer and has ambitions of her own. They marry despite her family's objections and set up a home together.

Their son Sunil arrives and Kiran's days fill with the house and the child while her own work waits. The dissatisfaction builds until she leaves to go after the life she had planned.

Rohit raises Sunil alone and slowly steadies his career. By the time Kiran comes back, now a film star, he takes her offer as pity rather than affection, and the argument moves out of the house and into a courtroom.
