Charan's father, an auto driver, sees the crime boss Mattu Bhai kill a journalist and pays for it with his life. Charan survives that night as a boy and grows up with nothing to his name.

With no money for his mother's operation, he falsely confesses to a crime and spends twelve years in prison. Once released, he leaves for Bangkok to look for work.

There he keeps crossing paths with Sanjana, a wealthy businessman's daughter, pulling her out of trouble she does not understand. She has no idea he came to the city for Mattu Bhai.
