Chori Chori Chupke Chupke2001

Raj and Priya Malhotra are married into money and into a family that treats grandchildren as the whole point of it. Priya loses a pregnancy early and is told she cannot carry another, and neither of them can bring themselves to say so at home.

Their doctor suggests a surrogate. They find Madhubala, remake her enough to pass in their world, and take her abroad with them so that the arrangement stays private.

The pregnancy works. What nobody plans for is Madhubala herself: the family arriving unannounced, a business partner who knows what she was, and a woman carrying a child she is expected to hand over.
