Dholki2015

Lala comes across a dholki that belonged to his late father. He tries playing it, and it turns out he has a real feel for the drum.

His mother does not take the discovery well. She would rather the dholki stayed where it was, because she can see where the playing will lead him: to trouble with Patil, the head of the village.

Lala keeps at it anyway. The talent that is finally giving him something of his own is the same talent that puts him in the way of the man the whole village answers to.
