Arjun and Ashwin have money, no real responsibilities and fathers who expect better of them, one an advocate and the other a police inspector. At a wedding they meet Neelaveni and Supriya, two sisters whose brothers run gangs that cannot stand each other.

Neelaveni says she will only marry an orphan, so Arjun becomes one. Ashwin takes a shorter route and marries Supriya quietly at a court, then has to sit through the arrangements for a proper family wedding.

The two men rent a house where nothing can be said aloud, and the lies begin to need lies of their own. Then men who know exactly whose sons they are come looking for payment.
