Nani remembers everything he has ever seen, which is useful for almost nothing. He lives in Hyderabad with his uncle and aunt, and keeps a careful distance from Jyothi, his brother's wife, whom he has never warmed to.

When his brother Ravi asks him to move to Warangal and keep an eye on her, he goes. Pallavi is there too, and she proposes to him within minutes of meeting; she turns out to be Jyothi's sister.

Jyothi is an RTO officer, and she has just seized two buses belonging to a local strongman called Siva. He tells her plainly what that will cost her.
