Jersey2019

Arjun was once the finest batsman in Hyderabad, passed over by selectors so often that he walked away from the game. Ten years on he is out of work and the money at home is short.

His son asks for one thing: an India jersey, for his birthday. Arjun cannot afford it and cannot explain why, so he promises the boy he will get one.

His old coach Murthy believes a thirty-six-year-old can still be picked. Arjun begins training again, in front of players half his age who know him only as a joke.
