Vijay Krishna has an engineering degree, a shop where he repairs televisions and a run of luck that has never once gone his way. He is building a device to get help to accident victims faster, and nobody will fund it.

He keeps the setbacks from his girlfriend Lahari, along with the evenings he spends drinking with his friend. The gap between the man he describes and the one he is keeps widening.

When an executive laughs the idea out of the room, Vijay answers him with a challenge he cannot afford to lose. Lahari then finds out what he has been hiding.
