ACP Amar Kapoor, son of the police commissioner, is handed two names he cannot fit together: Krishna, a policeman who answers to nobody, and Raja, a man the files list as a criminal.

Raja's fight is with Velji and Nageshwar Patel, and with Inspector Maroo, who keeps them safe. Neelam, the woman he loved, died because of the three of them.

Amar keeps building his case, and the more he learns about where Krishna came from, the harder it becomes to hold the line between the law he serves and the men he is meant to arrest.
