Bhoomi runs an eco-friendly startup in Hyderabad and has no interest in the husband her mother Prabhavati keeps trying to find for her. Aakash is an architect back from Paris, looking for exactly the thing Bhoomi is avoiding.

They are introduced through a mutual connection. Aakash settles a problem at her workplace, and Bhoomi, who expected very little of him, begins to take him seriously.

What neither of them says out loud is that they have met before, in college, and that Bhoomi has quietly arranged her whole life around a man she never once spoke to about it.
